Copper will tarnish naturally over time due to oxidation. That is normal and cannot be asserted. For the best shine and care, we recommend using a copper polish. Depending on the angle of the light, slight irregularities in the steel surface may be visible on the inside. This cannot be asserted.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Copper. Any copper cookware can discolor and tarnish as a result of normal use. To keep your cookware looking new, we recommend using a non-abrasive cleaner like Bon Ami and a nylon pad on the copper vessels on a regular basis. For general cleaning, regular dishwashing soap and a sponge should suffice. Try a paste of equal parts ketchup and salt for tougher stains. Polish with Polish on occasion.

Stainless steel or tin is commonly used to line copper pots. In either case, wash them with a soft sponge and warm water, using a gentle dish soap.

Copper tarnishes naturally over time if left alone. Apply a specialty copper cleaner or a homemade mixture of lemon juice and baking soda, vinegar and salt, or lemon and salt on a regular basis to polish it.
